August Hermann Francke (1663-1727), leading Pietist of his time , Professor at the University, Founder of the orphanage in Halle/Saale/Germany. Co-founder of the Danish-Halle Mission. His students were the first missionaries of the Danish-Halle Mission. At his school for children from rich families. Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf got the first vision for world mission.
