The Global Use of Internet and Digital Evangelism (Guide) Network is an informal networking resource, linked with Internet Evangelism Day & Web Evangelism Guide [1], Internet Evangelism Coalition [2], Global Christian Internet Alliance 3], Lausanne 4], and visionSynergy [5].
Its purpose:
Enhancing global spread of the Gospel in multiple languages via the Internet and mobile digital devices by networking with practitioners to:
- share resources and information
- encourage Kingdom collaboration
- help the body of Christ to embrace and engage in internet/mobile evangelism
A particular emphasis is web and mobile phone evangelism in non-western countries, in languages other than English, and in the 10-40 Window, where there are soon projected to be the 'second billion' internet users. The Guide Network exists not only to resource those already involved in online ministry, but also to help cross-cultural mission groups see the potential for integrating web and mobile ministry into their team ministries on the ground. The Guide Network actively assists the formation of language- and country-specific Internet evangelism networks to help spread the Gospel through Web and mobile means.
