Background of ICRM
- Indian Christian Revival Mission (ICRM) was born in the year 1977. Apostle R. John Elangovan was an instrument used by God for the inception of ICRM. Evangelism, Church planting, Training Programme, Prayer Mobilisation for Revival have been the main focus for its operation. It has its ministries mainly in 3 states respectively in Karnataka, Orissa & Tamilnadu.
- Mission in Karnataka:
- ICRM Karnataka mission was born in 1984 at a small village called Kattamallavadi, 5 kms from Hunsur. Karnataka has only 2% of Christians in its total population of 52.2 million.
- Mysore has become one of the potential cities in socio-economical and political scenario. As the city grows so rapidly, challenges remain for the church of God to cater the need of the emerging society. Mysore is one of the strong bases for the anti-Christian elements, who oppose, threaten and disturb the activities of the church. In this situation it has become inevitable to have our own hall for worship and prayer. For last 15 years Mysore has been one of the potential mission fields in ICRM. It has produced many servants of God and good number of prayer warriors.
